Set within the peaceful grounds of our main care home, these two charming semi-detached bungalows each containing two 'independent living' rooms providing the privacy and independence you cherish, with the reassurance of support whenever you need it.
Your Own Space, Your Own Pace
Each bungalow has a choice of two rooms. First, a cosy smaller bed and sitting room that is super peaceful and overlooks the private enclosed rear garden.
Second a larger bed sitting room with a small kitchen. This has a fridge and cupboards making it ideal for preparing light snacks and beverages whenever you feel like it, though these are provided from the main home throughout the day anyway. This room is very spacious featuring a lovely fireplace as a focal point and views of our main garden with its lawns, patio areas, and inviting seating spots.
Whichever you choose it really is a true 'home from home' environment where you can maintain your routines and independence. It's your space to make your own, with the freedom to live life at your own pace.
The Best of Both Worlds
What makes our bungalows special is you're never truly alone unless you want to be. A dedicated carer visits each morning to assist with personal care, medication, breakfast, and domestic duties if needed. Throughout the day and night, our caring team regularly checks in, providing just the right level of support without intruding on your independence.
All your meals are prepared in the central house and can be enjoyed privately in your bungalow’s lounge/diner or with our friendly community of residents in the main house dining room. It’s entirely up to you.
You're also welcome to use all the communal areas in Quarry Mount's main house whenever you wish. Join in with activities, enjoy meals with others, or you can simply pop over for a chat – the choice is always yours.
